Hello all. If you go to http://www.myspace.com/radiomenroar and scroll down, you can hear a track featuring samchillian solos. This was my 2nd time on the sam, and it's largely played on an F major scale, until the final more percussive section where it switches to a D hebrew scale. Two synth sounds, and a wurlitzer sound are used as the solo voice. I wanted to see how the samchillian concept lent itself to narrative playing, ie. developing a few motifs in a solo. I also wanted to experiment with playing more seperated & stacatto or connecting keystrokes more, just to see what kind of articulations you could get. I found the samchillian interface to be fantastic in both regards.

I think it's a wonderful invention. Brilliant, Lee.
A.
